March 7th was for the company Chemkostav, a.s. marked by the ceremonial start of construction of two projects. One of the places was the largest village of the whole Liptov region, in which the expected construction of missing sewers was today officially opened, attended by Minister of Ministry of the Environment, Mayor of Ružomberok, mayors of the affected municipalities, representatives of the investor, contractor and construction supervisor. Company Chemkostav, a.s. implements a part of the project "Drietoma - Sewage drainage", the client is the municipality Drietoma. Contract of work for the project "Building of municipal sewage system in the village Drietoma" Chemkostav signed with the company Ovida, s.r.o.
The purpose of the construction is to ensure the building of sanitary sewer system throughout the village and diversion of sewage into the village Kostolná - Záriečie.

Company Chemkostav, a.s. implements project "SKK Ružomberok and WWTP Liptovská Teplá, Liptovské Sliače". Beneficiary of the Work is Vodárenská spoločnosť Ružomberok, a.s. All work will be financed by the Cohesion Fund, state budget resources and by the resources of Vodárenská spoločnosť Ružomberok. The project addresses the agglomeration Ružomberok, Sliače and Lúčky in which all activities will be implemented.
On November 21st, 2013 the awards ceremony of 19th year of nationwide public competition of completed constructions in Slovakia The Construction of the Year 2013, was held in Bratislava, in the City Theatre of P. O. Hviezdoslav, with the presentation of the authors of architectural solutions of construction Works, designers, main contractors, builders and developers, the main site engineers and construction supervision. Among the nominees was the newly built project "Slnečnice, 1st stage" in Bratislava, which was awarded a price of Prvá stavebná sporiteľňa, a.s. - RESIDENTIAL HOUSE OF THE YEAR 2013.
On November 14th, 2013 on the occasion of completion of the project “Water protection in the river Dyje – Phase II", a formal event was held in the castle Boskovice, attended by representatives of the investor, construction supervision, contractors of particular subprojects and representatives of the designer. Presented was a comprehensive project, funded under the Operational Program of Environment of the Czech Republic, the State Environmental Fund of the Czech Republic and Svaz VKMO s.r.o., Brno. Project has been proposed in order to reduce the pollution of surface and waste water in region Vysočina and also in the South Moravian Region. Construction and reconstruction of basic infrastructure (sewage treatment, primary sewage networks) for the collection and treatment of waste water was carried out in order to meet European Union requirements.
Monday, 11th November 2013 – Chemkostav, a.s. Michalovce from Slovakia, starts to compete for the title of ‘National Public Champion’ in this year’s European Business Awards, sponsored by RSM International.
The company, already named as one of the national champions, has submitted a video of its company online, giving an in-depth story of their business and its successes. It will now compete against all other country national champions for the public vote. The company with the most votes will be named ‘National Public Champion’ for Slovakia on 14th January.
Company Chemkostav, a.s. was awarded with certificate of National Champion in European Business Awards, in November 7th, 2013. The company was awarded in category Employer of the Year Award. The event was held in Vienna for National Champions of Slovakia, Austria and Slovenia. Certificate presentations were performed by Adrian Tripp, CEO, European Business Awards, Robert Coles, Regional Director for Europe, RSM International and Stefan Walter, CEO, RSM/Austria.

Company Chemkostav, a.s. Michalovce has successfully completed contract Expressway R1 Lehota – noise control measures. Building contract was signed with the National Motorway Company (Národná diaľničná spoločnosť, a.s.), with contract completion date November 21st, 2013. Based on contract of work, all works should be completed within 12 months from taking over the site (including winter maintenance), but the implementation team managed to finish the project five weeks earlier. Acceptance procedure took place on October 16th, 2013.
