Basic information
A building is located in the complex VÚ 1102 Michalovce – Town barracks in the southeast part of the urban area of the town of Michalovce. Currently, the building is used for accommodation for soldiers of compulsory military service. Ground plan of the building comprises of two T-shaped, at each other vertical wings.
A purpose of the project is a complex reconstruction of the building for accommodation in compliance with a conception of Ground Forces of the Ministry of Defence of the Slovak Republic to an accommodation building for professional soldiers together with administration background in terms of unified minimum standard of the soldier lodging-houses.
Constructional- technical reconstruction performance is adapted to this requirement, which comprise of 90 double bedrooms in II. and IV. NP and administration premises in I. NP in number 16 offices and pertaining service storeroom. Rainwater and wastewater piping is connected to public sewerage. Adjacent frontage roads are made of asphalt concrete. The building is situated in grass-covered flat area, which is lined by frontage drivable pavements.
