Junction linking expressways on Hungarian-Slovak boarders is opened

Road connecting expressway M30 from Hungary with our Slovak expressway R4 was opened on Tuesday, 16. January 2018. Linking the expressways created direct, safe and capacitively satisfactory link of the international road E71, that runs from Kosice via Hungary to Split in Croatia, while at the same time it disburdens the transport on common boards.

Company Chemkostav IS, s.r.o. participated in the construction works on the expressway R4. The works consisted of transfer and installation of stopping safety systems, the extension of the road at the point of maintenance vehicles rotation from the km 13,128 of the existing R4 towards Slovakia, which also involved the completion of the passage. The project included as well the traffic signs setup and traffic equipment designed so expressway M30 can be opened and at the same time a temporary road connecting road I/17 with expressway R4 is closed.
