We have been building on a solid foundation for already 20 years
Year 1996. The year when the first flip mobile phone was sold, prince Charles and princess Diana officially got divorced, Czech movie Kolja won an Oscar, a Slovak music band Desmod was formed. And in Michalovce, in the heart of Zemplín, a new construction company Chemkostav was established.
Since then 20 years have passed and 150 buildings have grown in Slovakia that Chemkostav can be proud of. And not only these 2 numbers are a good reason for a celebration.
The company’s constitution anniversary was held on the last day of September. Even though autumn has already started, pleasant sunny Friday was just as made for a celebration.
Very interesting program hosted by Junior and Marcel was planned on the Osloboditeľov square in Michalovce. Dance performance of folklore group Zemplín and dance school Grácia. Beautiful Ruthenia songs were heard thanks to the Igor Kucera Emotion group and his musical project „Songs my mother’s Juliet “. Sport fans got pleased by an interview with a coach, a director and players from the woman handball team Iuventa. And of course there was an interview with the company executives and handing over a Grant „On solid foundations “. At the end dancing rhythm was set by Peter Bič Projekt.
This special anniversary was not only about celebration, but as well about memories, stories and expression of gratitude. Both to employees for the long term engagement and contribution, as well to partners and suppliers for the long term cooperation. This happened during the joint lunch and gala evening. Over the lunch, commemorative coins were handed over to the employees who are with the company since the very beginning.
On this special occasion, during the gala evening, a new book „We build on a solid foundation 2“was introduced. The book is based on memories and stories of directors and colleagues. It offers a tour of the highlights of the 20-year history.
