Chemkostav Company, a.s. Michalovce on June 15th, 2012 took over the site at the area of Technical University of Kosice.This happened after the date of May 22nd, 2012 of signing the contracts for work between the two sides. The contract contents the implementation of two projects.
The matter of the first project is to make a modification of Technical University Faculty of Arts area, which is located in a former elementary school. There are the rearrangements of toilet facilities planed, with new showers. At the former boiler room, it is counted with the removal of old structures, the drying of wet areas, floor leveling and the windows replacement. At the entire building, including classrooms and hallways will be subsequently performed reconstruction of electrical wiring, lighting, heating and water pipe sand sewers. After implementation of all works, the new spaces will be created in the building of the TU Faculty of Arts, especially for studios for sculpture, modeling and shaping.
The matter of the second project is to do the reconstruction and extension of buildings PK 10 and PK12. There are the small reinforced concrete halls meant with span of 15 meters, which should simulate a factory environment. The central teaching and research laboratories of Technical University are currently concentrated in existing buildings. In principle, along reconstruction of existing halls it will come to espousal of two yards, which are located between the halls. That will create adequate working space for teaching and research center for the Technical University faculties.
Company Chemkostav, a.s. Michalovce has undertaken all works to be done within 12 months of Site acceptance. Price for implementation of complete works is 1 706 306, 09€ with VAT.
