Snina – WWTP – increase of capacity
At the end of July 2014 Chemkostav a.s, started with construction works at Snina WWTP – increase of capacity. Investor of the project is Východoslovenská vodárenská spoločnosť a.s. Košice. The completion date of works is expected at the beginning of 2016.
Inadequate capacity of the existing WWTP is the main reason behind the project, since increased amount of wastewater does not guarantee the cleaning of wastewater, which is required by limits. The construction site for increase of WWTP capacity is existing site of WWTP Snina, located near river Cirocha. There do exist WWTP facilities on site, which connect individual objects of WWTP.
WWTP and sanitation is mostly case of underground nature, which does not require architectural solutions. From construction point of view they are solved with standard materials, WWTP tank from watertight concrete. Pipelines are made from waterproofing materials. Building technical solution is designed to fulfil the function, which is allotted to it in technological process of wastewater treatment. After completion of the proposed WWTP, construction will be managed by professional water management organization.
