Closing ceremony of project “ Reconstruction and modernization of ZpS and DSS Trebišov”
Chemkostav, a.s. Michalovce attended the closing ceremony of project „Reconstruction and modernization of ZpS and DSS Trebišov“. Work on the project took place in specialized facility for seniors - ZpS and social service center – DSS – LUMEN, Jilemnického 170/1, Trebišov.
Aim of project was creating of better conditions for accommodation of pensioners, accessibility of object to disabled citizens and removal of defects on flat roof. Also creating better conditions for relax, rest and healthcare of pensioners as well as exchange of old water heaters for solar collectors.
Whole complex of this facility is composed by four independently standing objects, which are mutually connected, what allows access within them by “dry foot”. After completion in pavilion A and also in pavilion B, there are available rooms with higher standard and separate sanitation. Reconstruction included exchange of old damaged windows and balcony doors. The complex is now also accessible for severely disabled thanks to lifts and implementation of barrier free adjustments. New sloping hipped roof is covered with asphalt shingles.
Relatively significant changed was in pavilion C, which is the main entrance to the complex. Existing premises were changed to rehabilitation and relaxation zone. In room for rest were added whirlpool, sauna, deck chairs, shower cabin and container for cooling feet. Another improvements were concerning WC for disabled, cloakroom with shower, electrotherapy and room for masseur.
All works and changes were realized inside of existing premises, thereby reconstruction didn’t change the architectural appearance of whole object.
