Chemkostav IS reached its major goal. Now is standing before starting the construction of the section of Expressway „R2 Zvolen east – Pstruša“.
Construction of 7.8 km of expressway sections R2 Zvolen east - Pstruša started by signing a Contract for Works between an association of companies Corsan - Corviam Construcción, S.A. and Chemkostav IS, s.r.o. and the Národná diaľničná spoločnosť, a.s. (National Motorway Company, Inc.), which entered into force on July 12th, 2014. Member of the association, company Chemkostav IS, s.r.o.. is a subsidiary of a reputable construction company Chemkostav, a.s. Michalovce.
On the route of the expressway section R2 Zvolen east - Pstruša, in a total length of 7.850 km, there are a total of seven permanent bridges, one is the overpass over the expressway and 3,500 m of anti - noise walls. Demanding is the bridge over the brook Hradná with a length of 206.8 meters, and the bridge over the railroad tracks and Slatina, long 460.6 meters. The section begins in grade-separated interchanges Zvolenská Slatina. The route is led on Zvolen basin and ends before the interchange Pstruša, beyond which continues the section Pstruša - Kriváň, which is already under construction. The basic objective is to build the capacity and modern road - an expressway for safe and smooth conduct primarily a transit and car transport solutions in those areas.
Implementation of section Zvolen east - Pstruša will take 730 days to complete and its completion is scheduled for July 2016. This section will be built for less than 83 million EUR excluding VAT and funded by the European Union under the Operational Programme Transport for years 2007 to 2013.
