The project deals with the reconstruction and modernization of block B5 of the Boarding House A of the Academy of the Armed Forces gen. M.R. Štefánik, which is in bad technical condition. The thermal insulation properties of the perimeter structure, including opening fillings, and the technical equipment of the building, which is in a state of emergency, are mainly unsatisfactory. The state of emergency of the internal installations, especially the water and sewage systems, caused damage to the wall and ceiling finishes. Over the years of permanent use of the building, there has been significant wear and tear of the tread layers of the floors, deterioration of wall coverings in social facilities and fillings of internal openings. After reconstruction and modernization, the building will serve its original purpose of housing students.

 

The reconstruction of the dormitory building will include the installation of new doors, new windows, new sanitary facilities, painting of the building's premises, SDK ceilings, new floors, kitchen units, built-in wardrobes and ZTI distributions. The entire modernization will be preceded by demolition work.
