TREND Regata 2018
The beginning of the summer season we traditionally started at the TREND Regata yachting event, which is being organized by Slovak weekly paper TREND. This is the eight-time participation of Chemkostav crew on the event.
This year’s area of race was area of National park Kornati and the islands of Murter and Zminjak in Croatia. Altogether 25 business crews competed in 3 categories: BAVARIA 46 Spinaker, BAVARIA 46 Genaker, BAVARIA 41 Genaker. The stable and experienced crew of Chemkostav, together with captain Jozef Hnilica competed in the biggest category (15 yachts) BAVARIA 46 Genaker. The other 2 categories were smaller, with 5 yachts each. Despite strong competition during the race Chemkostav won amazing 2nd place.
